Custom Fabrication FAQ
What types of materials do you work with?
We fabricate using metal, plastic, and wood depending on the application. Material selection is based on strength requirements, fitment, durability, and overall performance goals.
Do you handle one-off custom builds?
Yes. One-off fabrication projects are welcome. Whether it is a single bracket or a full interior panel system, every project is built to spec.
Can you fabricate from my existing drawings?
Yes. If you already have CAD files or production drawings, we can fabricate directly from your provided specifications. Files can be reviewed before production to ensure accuracy.
Do you offer design services if I do not have drawings?
Yes. If you do not have a finalized design, we can create a CAD model before fabrication begins to ensure proper dimensions and fitment.
What file types do you accept?
Common accepted formats include SolidWorks files, STEP, IGES, DXF, and detailed mechanical drawings. If you are unsure about your file format, send it over and we can review it.
Do you offer small batch production runs?
Yes. Small batch production is available depending on project scope and material requirements. This is ideal for product developers and specialty builds.
How long does a custom fabrication project take?
Project timelines vary depending on complexity, materials, and current workload. After reviewing your project details, we provide an estimated timeline before fabrication begins.
Do you ship fabricated parts?
Yes. Nationwide shipping is available. Local pickup can also be scheduled by appointment.
Do you offer installation?
Installation availability depends on the type of project. For certain automotive builds or components, installation can be discussed during consultation.
